1. No. wrong offset. Will need 195/45/15's and arch mods.

2. Yes.

how do you know they are the wrong offset?

it doesnt say..... 195 = tyre width
50 = tyre wall
15 = tread stuff

Doubt u will even need arch mods dependin on the offset of the wheels 45-49

any less = probably

they should work as it is a mk2 nova and my mk1 which has smaller arch clearance thingy has 195/45/15 s on and only had 2 take 4 mm off the right hand rear arch

i aint too sure bout the offset but belive they are a 45. they wheels fitted perfectly on a 1.4 16v corsa but now jus been told by demon tweeks that with a 50 tyre the archs may need mods but will be better with a 45

Mine have 195/50/15, they're a 48mm offset and didnt need no arch mods, gonna get'm done though cuz when I was tearin round a roundabout last nite it caught alittle and i lost some paintwork from off the lip and got a small line groove in my tire. Looked good though when blue smokey dust flew everywhere!

Slightly off there....

195 is the width in mm
50 is the percentage of the width that goes into the heigh of the wall. So you walls will be 50% of 195mm
15 is the diameter inside the tyre in inches - thus the size of your wheel

The Following Numbers and/or Letters will indicate the Speed Rating.

they will fit as already said, tsw don't do a prefect 49mm offset so closest you'll get is 45mm. as for arch work should be fine without lowering but it will probably catch when lowered, if you can afford it go for the 195/45/15 tyre rather then the 195/50 (just my personal taste)

He doesn't. :lol:

You can tell by the wheel manufacturer, model, and size, as to what the possible offset could be. Some don't go up above 38mm, for example.

I (possibly false) believed that tsw don't make that wheel in that size that comes in an offset above 38.

But to be honest i don't really know much about tsw as i don't like ANY of their wheels, so pay no attention. But that's just my taste. And my nova does look like a shopping trolley.

:lol: , nah i finally got round to taking pics, but with a real shitty camera that has proper film in it and stuff.

And sent them off for developing, so still waiting to get them back to scan in and upload. Unless they're lost.

Just ordered myself a new digital camera from Jessops, so if i get that before the photo's, i'll take more pics. Though they'll be better than the one's i'm waiting for anyway i think (6 million pixels). Plus i didn't even wash the car for the pics. :roll:

Who cares, i know what it looks like, and that's ALL i'm bothered about. It is after all MY car.

But.

Don't worry people, we can all soon point and laugh at my poxy shopping trolley. :lol: :lol:
