a lad used to work for us, had 235.40r18's on a lowered 1.2 corsa b. they were at least 7"... it still looked royally shyte with the factory drums....

I have et 33 14 inch 7j on my Nova with 175/50 tyres

Had to modify the rear beam tho

Will be inline with the arches, Wont work with anything other than standard height and never having anybody in the back.

My et38 team dynamics wheels came off a "hooped" Corsa, that was fine.

But as edd said, he may have modded the arches or the suspension.
