ribbed pully on xe

hello there guys just wondering if you could help as this is bugging me now how isit that on a baby xe conversion i can use my ribbed pully but on a 20xe conversion i have to use a v-pully also does any one know if there is a way to use the ribbed on a 20xe or have photos if so.

i have thought it to be the spacing used on the gearbox mount but unsure rep will be added thanks guys :):)

not possible on a nova xe because of the lack of space due to where the engine has to sit.
