Oil in the water, but no water in the oil.

As title says my C20XE engine is getting oil in the water but not getting any water in the oil. I thought the head may of gone porus. But this isn't all that likely. Plus the gut who sold me the block said he sold it due to the head going porus and so scrapped it and sold on the block. Didnt see and cracks on the heaf. So what do people reckon?

Sounds like the cylinder head has gone porus or even just the gasket around the oilway. is it a schmidt head (non coscast)

Yes non coscast. But ddoesnt water get in to the oil to? And changed the head gasket. But did not work unfortunatly.

I havnt had one do it buddy but i think they go oil into the water.

Only the oil goes in the water mate.

okay loverly well that rules out the block for deffo. will get on finishing th spare head over the next few days... cheers
