right as the holes in the girfriends nova boot where that bad i did'nt weild i fiberglassed it so as it's a bit lumpy i was thinking of putting sound deadning carpets down to cover it and make a bit more tidy looking for the mot guy is this a good idea :roll:

depends where it is, iv just welded mine.

they will insist you take it up as they need to make sure its solid

do that after the mot, but if they see your trying to hide it they are more likely to pull you up on it.

so do you think it won't matter that ther is moulds of fiberglass arount the floor ?or will they be ok long as it is soild and they can't poke holes in it?what about spray paint?
