where on earth do i wire the positive side of the switch to, it says to the fuse box, but where on the fuse box

use the red on the side of the fuse box that is supplying the central locking

as ste says use this, it is fused............

itll work at any time though - so be careful u dont press the button whilst travelling!

i'm having the same problems with my central locking coz the fucking fuse box has about 4 possible place's it could go, and now my mam has threw the instructions out and have no chance of getting it sorted! i need help too! can anyone mail me? if u can try scan the instructions to the m8 autotech central locking and remote too.thanx lads

just run it direct to the battery - safer anyway - especially for central locking - as if the inside fuse blows your fucked

if its in the enginebay u can still get in and sort it

Aragorn - thats a stupid thing to say. Wiring it straight to the battery is asking for trouble. Don't you guys own a Haynes manual, it tells you in there where the central locking fuse is. If it blows you can still use the key, or wire in an emergency bypass switch (i don't recommend this tho)

I think I saw a good guide on Mike Oxfords site the other day :D
