Seats mk1 in a mk2

Ill try expain it.

Right seat rails in floor and bits on seat subframe dont line up the brackets on the subframe and too close together. like this

Never personally had a problem fitting Mk2 seats into a Mk1

Me neither,only subframe difference is pov spec to sr/sri/gsi/gte
