Roll cage

Hello,

just wandering if anyone knows if you can fit a roll cage into a 3 door nova but keep the rear seats and interior??

6 point cage will fit as long as you get one that comes down in front of the dash, carpet may need cutting at the mounting points and the rear seats (upright section) may not fit between the rear diagonals

You can as there is a nova sport in my family farm yard with a full cage in it not much use though as there is a diagonal bar where the rear passengers would sit. The seats were left in to stick to the tules of the Toyo championship it was racing in IIRC.

I have a full cage in my Sport with a standard interior

only problem i found was that the metal bar that the seat belt run along gets it the way of the cage leg, bit of bending and its fine tho

Got a full 6 point saftey devices roll cage with door bars and diagonal to fit in my sport keeping the interior.

hey hey, just the reply I was after!

I have no itentions of taxiing folk around in the back and wanted to keep the original interior too. So a 6 point safety devices cage will be ok? Diaganol in back mises top of rear seat? Bend seat belt rail and I planned on fitting it once shell is ready to spray so will be white too sorry Edd. Sounds good.

Very long way off yet but you've got to do your research!
