I fitted central locking to the boot tonight using a cavalier lock mk 3. Any way stupid me when i but it all back together on the car the metal from the selonoid which links onto the white pice of plastic which conects to the lock snapped. Its ok as the metal goes into the plastic hole its just the little plastic clip to hold the selonoid rod in place snapped off . I have bodged it with tape but if any one can tell me a GM part number or even the name of what it is i am trying to describe would be great as i a would like to get another one.

Spent forever trying to mod the cav lock straight into the nova in the end released i had to just swap the back half of the locks.

I have a few in my loft so I ll get a pic and see if it's what you need failing that the exploded drawings on vauxhall computer of the boot lock then point it out

cheers what i mean is pictured in the above link page 1 its that white bit of plastic that latches onto the metal rod. Would vauxhall even send something so small or do you think they only sell it on a new lock?

thanks
