standard rear speakers

In my mk2 I have plastic bits for speakers but there are no speakers there.. I have got some 6x9's but just woundred if there is any wires in the back I could extend or have I got to run fresh wire from speakers to headunit ?

If you're using anything decent speaker wsie forget the factory cable it's really small guage, thinner than bell wire. Just run some more it's a piece of cake.

Think your right mate do you know what colour wire is on the back of the head unit for rear speakers

If I remember right then rears are green with colour stripes. Should be easy enough, the head unit should have the pinout on it somewhere if it's original.
