hi folks,

im currently having problems with my wee 1.9 205gti. it wont start, checked its gettin fuel, checked for power to the fuel pump an that its actually turning on, changed my fuel pressure regulator an checked for a spark an im still getting nothing.

does anyone know of a garage that could take my car an get it going? pref a friend of a friend is possible as i dont have mega bucks to spend right now.

im in th paisley/glasgow area.

Check its still timed up right and buy a compression tester.

its not got one of those stupid inertia fuel cut off switches has it? We have had many french things arrive on a lorry as a non runner, when it just want the switch resetting. makes sence if it stopped over a bump too

Cos the body doesn't rust! :p (Boot corners and frotn panel aside)

Fuel cut-off sounds a good bet given the circumstances. I immobilised my Orion Ghia by throwing a spare wheel into the boot and knocking that!
