Guys as above im wanting to gain a little more space in the bay as it looks cluttered can you run the standard rad fan on the other side of the rad and reverse the wires for it to run the other way or do you have to run a slimline aircon fan or summat?

Any info/help apreciated.

Rep will be given.

Damo.

im pretty sure you cant make the o.e fan run the otherway; wires are an earth and a live.. plus dont think theyre slim enough
So best best is to buy a slim-line fan; most arent that dear and are switchable/work either way.

looking at the pic above (as i might do this in the future) i wouls get 2 smaller fans and fit them side by side? is this advisable as the fan blades could stop airflow once on the move?

2 fans would cover more of the radiator tho? At least with one half is exposed still

I got a TXAutosport one off eBay for £30 and it looks spot on, reversable blades and wiring for fitting however you want.

but they have that stupid great cowl on a stock rad..... and it is only used in slow traffic, when airflow is not great, so slapping 2 fans in without a cowl will be fine.

Slimline rad fans FTW!

Advantages- quite, push plenty of air, space savers & save fuel apparently because they use less of the batterie power to run!
