Fuel tank prob!

Hi, just swapped my 5dr tank 4 a gte tank (nitemare job!!) all worksfine, except the fuel guage is reading empty, the dash is fine coz it goes thru the sequence! I think its the sender inside the tank! Iv seen a post like this b4, but i cant find it! any help would be appreciated!!!!!

is the sender wired up properly, is the gte tank an old or new one and the sender is it old, they are renound for sticking

there shud be a plug on the back of the tank, have you conected it up, next to where the fuel line comes out?

Yeah its connected, it can only go on 1 way cant it? how would i go about unsticking it? or is it a replacement jobbie?
