View Full Version : c14se vac pipes
anyone have a c14se and can check thier vaccum pipes for me?
its the pipes areound the inlet that am wondering about and where each one goes too
my car sometimes cuts out when i dip the clutch and im not sure if its the pipes or my ICV
the thing is i snapped a bolt off my ICV when trying to remove it so i dont wanna chance snapping the other one untill i have the engine out (soon) to drill and retap it
The bolts are thread locked and Vauxhall don't have replacements so hopefully they are standard size.
Vac wise you have a take off for:
Fuel Reg
Carbon Canistor 'switch' (this is probably what you've found though pics would be helpful)
Brake servo
MAP sensor
Think that's it. Stalling is likely to be the idle stepper, could also be lambda sensor. I'd clean the idle valve first.

yes think your right :thumb:
ill take a pic tomorrow and post it up
its a c14se from a corsa so it has a coilpack
I'm having similar problems with a C14SE.
The vacuum from the back of the TB should go to the map sensor.
One from underneath should go to a T-Piece in the brake servo vacuum pipe.
And the one on the right hand of the inlet should go to the FPR.
yeah the on on the right goes to the fpr
is there a t piece in the servo pipe? i dont hink i saw one
There should be going by what i've been told after speaking to a lad with a Corsa SRi.
The car my 14SE is in used to be an XE so doesnt have the T-Piece, certain i have one in the garage from when i XE'd my Corsa Sport, if i find it today i'll let you know how i get on.
You still got my old Nova? Hows it coming along?
