it all depends on budget and type of use

price is irrelevant, I want adjustable height and damping but like someone has just posted, spax rsx are harsh on softest settings which is a bit daft! Anyone know what Gaz are like?

I had Spax RSX, wasn't that hard tbh but I only bought it because it was 2nd hand and cheap, brand new deffo would go for GAZ.

You can specify what spring rate etc you want too with GAZ. :thumb:

Gaz were good on my 1.6, as said specify the spring rates etc to suit your setup which is nice.

If you afford it, go for the Ali bodied Gaz golds, as spider to the £410 stuff.

But, £720 for some suspension is a lot of money!

You could always go 3way Proflex for about £1k a corner lol

Nova GTE road rally car:
Koni adjustables on the front
Bilstein non-adjustables on the back
Unknown make springs, but supposedly 'Spax Road Sport'.

Standard anti-roll bars & rear frame (it's a proper GTE, not a replica). Standard bushes. Standard top mounts.

All this was fitted by the last owner, who converted from chav chariot to decent motorsport car.

Handling - great!!!

It's not lowered much either, which to me is important.
