I'd just get hold of a heater box that's already been done seeings as you got the dash out.

Would i need to drain the coolant to split the heater box?
Would i get another heater matix easy though mate?

or that lol
You'd need to cut the blanking plates out AFAIK.
I think its possible to take the box apart and remove them bits, otherwise your have to cut them out in situ. Dont forget your also need the little bits that like clip and screw onto the box for the side ducts to clip onto.
