petrol guage

my petrol guage has stopped workin :(

what do i have to do to fix it will it be the sender how much am i lookin at?

have u got white dials or nehting.. mine gets stuck sometimes and doesnt work.. then when i go over a bump sometimes it frees it and starts to work . . .

could be a couple of probs

1. needle jammed - remove dash and check it moves freely
2. no power to gauge - check wires
3. sender in tank not working - get new one (not cheap)
4. no fuel (doubtful?)

problem solved! Caned it over a speed bump must of been stuck or sumin!

nice 1.. i remember first time it happened to me.. had to stop and pull ova.. thought some1 had nicked me petrol or somin!!

lol.....I had the same prob with mine. I just got out rocked the car abit and it was ok after. :D
