creaking+clonkin

last wk a creaking sort of sound started from the rear right hand arch (where the filler cap is). Ive had it on ramps, there is nothing loose but when i rock the car the sound is there

it sounds like the its from the area where the pipe goes from the filler to the fule tank but i dunno wot it is

any 1 got any ideas

i got the same prob!!! i wana know wot it is, its got abit worse recently. shouds like a shocker?

got a similar noise on a 1.0 nova used for raggin around empty fields, its the spring rubbing on its seat on the beam. makes no difference to the already comical handling so i left it. probably an easy fix, only happened when we replaced the standard springs with gte ones

get someone to rock it while you look. maybe twist the spring round a bit?
