Malwarebytes anti malware and Spybot S&D is all you need. Just keep them updated, both free too.

LOL at not looking hard enough :p

Malware bytes is the best AV at the moment IMO. [edit] Thats assuming you prefer to do on demand scans. Any active scanner will hog system resources.

Ever tried ESET Smart Secruirity?? (SP??)

That's also bloody brilliant.... I run it on my laptop and desktop, never had any problems...
