Just fixed my electric guitar (although its still a bit dodgy) and I need some new strings, what strings do you use? I usually buy Ernie Ball Super Slinky's as they're cheap but decent.

Elixirs are worth a look as they tend to corrode a bit slower, although a better option is cheaper strings and fast fret.

This comes from a mate who's a keen/far better guitarist than me btw lol

I'm not fast on the frets, I play stuff like Nirvana mainly, Come as you are, Heart shaped box < need to learn that solo but only got 4 strings lol Smells like teen spirit (of course)

I would like to get fast on the frets so I can do the solo to Crazy Train by Ozzy :(

On my "regular" electric I use Super slinky's, have done for years as they're ideal for most regular tuning songs.

On my Ibanez (which is usually dropped to C / E), "Not even Slinky's" are the best strings I've ever used :), only downside is they don't (as far as I'm aware) make a 7 string version of them, so have to use a .64 from another pack too :(

7 string guitar eh, are you a Korn fan? I've never played one of them yet although I have played a 12 string guitar, but to be fair that's just a smaller string underneath each main string lol

fast fret has nothing to do with how fast you play, stops strings corroding though :p

I always use daddario strings on my electric and acoustic, last well and tend not to break.
