Just nosing holidays at the mo, and looking at details of the (required!) insurance policies available. This bit made me laugh...

1 We will not pay any claim directly or indirectly caused by the following.

War, invasion, act of foreign enemy, hostilities (whether war is declared or not), civil war, civil commotion, rebellion, revolution,
insurrection, military force, coup d’etat or weapons of mass destruction (for example, nuclear, chemical or biological).

You not enjoying your trip or not wanting to travel.

You committing suicide

You travelling on a motor cycle

Ionising radiation or radioactive contamination from nuclear fuel or nuclear waste or any risk from nuclear equipment.

Cool, so as long as the place I've got in mind doesn't get nuked and I have a good time without killing myself - and I take the plane there rather than ride a motorbike allthe way to Egypt - I should be good for cover!

if not enjoying yourself was claimable, there would be claim forms pinned to the lampposts in most british resorts.....

I'm guessing if your planning a holiday to kill your self your going to be reasonably serious about it so in theory your not going to claim on your insurance as you will be dead.
Unless of course your not very good as suicide and end up just seriously injuring yourself therefor needing to claim?
