xe gearbox oil

what grade gearbox oil does a xe take? haynes manuel just gives me a vauxhall part number. its an astra gte 2.0 16v 1987 engine:thumb:

SAE 80EP, or an 80w/90, about 2.1 litres for an f16/5

the f10/5 & f13/5 are 1.8litres capacity, the big blocks are 2.1

the castrol book says 1.9 ltrs for said box

its a f20 box im using, i take it its the same amount of oil as a f16?

just fill it slowly until the oil appears & just starts to trickle out the level plug, its on the lhs of the diff.
