any head to suit a nova sr 1.4. must be in working order.

i have a 1.6NV head which is the same as a 1.4SR except it has bigger pisont dishes underneath? square ports also.

i have a 1.4 sr head, but it is missing two valves as i pinched them for another head. square ports

also have a 1.3 sr head. castellated ports.


any good.........?

which would you sugest to be the best. if the 1.4 has valves missing can we not swop off the 1.3? is it in good nick? i would probly fit new stem seals (gen vuax like :)

its not for me its for a m8 the stupid coont has gone and bent all his valves and broke some guides somehow

im quite happy to pinch the valves of a head and whack them in there for you. dont know if i can be arsed to grind em all in properley for you though :lol:

the 1.3 would be better, but his ports wont match will they?

so i guess i could reassemble the original 1.4 head for you?

get a price for a recon and ill do it three quaters or half

or price from a scrappy and ill do it for that?

i dont have a clue

im having to leave my house in about an hour to attend a funeral so i wont be back till later, i can take all parts to PV if thats any help??

we were going to do that but ended up were going to take, 2 dashes, 2 sets of wheels, a fuel tank, pump, my bucket seats, a gsi interior etc etc

it all got a bit out of hand.

with 17s that scrub throwing an engine block in the boot aint allways the brightest idea now is it ;)
