Abit baffled about this really?

If I buy a universal central locking kit off the bay what else do I need to get the doors to "pop" open? Iv looked at boot pop kits but would I need 3 of them an how do you wire them into a switch under the mirror??

The easiest way if you are using solenoids is to hook up 12v to them and run the earth wire to one side of the switch and the other side of the switch earthed. Or use the earth signal from an alarm to activate them

But what are the solenoids I'd need? Just a central locking kit?

Brainsnova do you know where I could get the parts I need from??

I'm not 100% what solenoids as some don't have enough travel best way is to buy a single solenoid and try it to see if it works

The first ones should do both doors and the boot but you don't need the control module as you are only using them in one direction to lock which will pull the rod from the handle to open the door

But would I not need two kits one for the central locking on the alarm fob then just 2 slaves for the door handle mechanism?

Also would I be able to wire to buttons to each door one internal and one external for getting in and out?
