Length of CDS tube & weld one in, prob cheaper than any off the shelf items too.

Agreed to the above. Mines welded in. Cost about £10 to do and surprisingly makes a noticeable difference.

Unsure of the diameter of mine unfortunately, was the rear strut-bar section of a Rollcage from a written off Rally-Car at my old work ;)

Is the reason behind the ones attached to the rear shockers being rubbish because they have movement on the shockers, basically flexing then?

Wouldn't a rear arb for road use do the same job.

That's what I've been led to believe, that the actual top of the shocks flex under use so a brace connected to them just flexes in conjuction.

Whereas bolting/welding a strong bar between the arches/struts themselves stops alot of flex.

I'm still (unfortunately) running standard suspension on my Nova, and the welded in rear-brace makes a surprisingly large difference in how the car reacts to cornering, it "lurches" alot less. I would expect it to be less noticeable with a decent suspension setup though.
