need some new wings for my sri and not sure what to do.
has any1 brought copies. i was gonna do that but the guy at garage said they ended up costing more uz ther hard to fit properly? well i was gonna get them sprayed then fit myself, so how bad are they.
does vuax sell the vynal stuff for the bottom, how much?

also how much would you say it would cost for both wings to be sprayed (off the car)

if anyone lives in stoke can they recomend anywhere?

Dicko - yes you can get vynal from vayxhall - not cheap about ?100 a
side or summut silly like that!

You can spray them in anthracite to mimick the vynal - or just remove the vynal totally.

Copy wings are ok - go for metal rather than fibregalss ones though. There was a place on NL posted a while ago that do good copies (auto vaux or summut like that). Fibregklass ones can sometimes be pigs to fit plus you usually have to fanny about taking edges back and smoothing it.

Also try SUpernovas in Brum for 2nd hand wings or Dickons car spairs I think thats what its called) in Stoke (or on out skirts) - I got some part from them a while ago - bv reasonable.

I used to work in the vehicle parts trade, and from my experiences, once a model stops being current, the parts buying dept sources them from wherever they get the best deal. OK there is more comeback from the dealer, but your car will no longer be as straight as the day it was built, so genuine ones will probably need fettling too.

I brought a 25 quidder, didn't look out of place..... The metal might have been a little thinner, but only 1-2mm

But I got an absolute pro to fit it.. been in the business 20 odd years, and he's got a contract for accident repair with the Post Office
