grindin!!!

anyone got any tips on grindin the rear arches... doin mine this afternoon as for some stupid reason my non lowered mk1 rubbs with 4 ppl in the car and on andys nova gte he only had 2 do the lip and his was -60mm.

n e way tips please!!!

the way my mate did his was:

snip the lip and either side and knock the lip up with a hammer.

if your arches are in bad nick dont do this.

His turned out good and didnt rub with 3 ppl in the back and his hefty ice install.

if you do it that way make sure you seal the lip off as water can get trapped in the bent up bit (would look sommant like this)

the reason will be cos u got either big wheels, or the wrong offset. i only got 15s they rub. standard suspension.

if u wona bend ur arches up all u need to do is get a yard brush (sweeping brush) and put below your arch but above your wheel then push the brush( hahaha) down and they will bend up!
