great fun making my own mark on this car, but I feel i've gone as far as I can go on this project (without chucking in an xe in :D )
so the search began for a new car and I found this !
http://i982.photobucket.com/albums/ae310/drkauffman/SAM_0129.jpg
bought off ebay with the absolute minimum write up, t'was a gamble. drove 2hrs to get it

I was quite surprised for a 1.2 it pulls better than the corsa b (12. 8v)
http://i982.photobucket.com/albums/ae310/drkauffman/SAM_0138.jpg
original radio
http://i982.photobucket.com/albums/ae310/drkauffman/SAM_0140.jpg
a few areas of bubbling
http://i982.photobucket.com/albums/ae310/drkauffman/SAM_0141.jpg
dodge polishing from previous owner aswell !
http://i982.photobucket.com/albums/ae310/drkauffman/SAM_0139.jpg
scratch damage on one of the rear doors
plans are:
swap 110mm springs and uprated shocks from the corsa onto the 'loon done
fit wooden mountney steering wheel
source some older nova steel wheels with centre caps
early mk1 'loon grill
and lets make it clear .... its not going to be ratted !!!
Nice wireless.
Don't stick 'individual' crap on the 12 door Nova and ruin it too. lol

The Corsa looks crap, and your going to ruin this too.
I know it's harsh, but shat look is for those who can't use tools or do bodywork.

looks like there is room for some wide 13" alloys too, maybe with a bit of arch rolling
http://i982.photobucket.com/albums/ae310/drkauffman/SAM_0306.jpg
i'm pretty pleased with the ride hieght not to harsh on the derier too!
it is the same suspension from the rat corsa but i think gives a much nicer profile on the 'loon.
Got some 13x7 Superlites here, that I am soon putting up for sale.
Black spokes, polished lips, if you're interested.
Looks much better lowered! Just needs matching wheels now. lol

looking nice, love the colour. Can't wait to see it on some nice wheels, but I think coilovers would help sort the reverse rake.
Just for reference, this is mine on steels with huge tires - 120mm front and 100mm rear

the mudflaps now scrape :tard:
Just wiggle the hell out of the wheel to wiggle off the boss. Take the nut off and then tread it one one turn so the wheel doesn't fly off and you punch yourself in the face.

Lucky No' 7 and it matches the exterior!
http://i982.photobucket.com/albums/ae310/drkauffman/SAM_0358.jpg
and the cockpit as it is today with the all new modern ( :Barf ) head unit, tried going for the more subtle kenwood option here and to some degree its 'low key' but there is only so much talk sport and absolute radio one can listen to on LW/MW
still not bad for 25 boys of ebay + £5 for an aerial plug adapter from halfrauds erm..... :palm:
Not keen on the ANAL seat beads or the gear nob but other than that the car looks good mate well done:p

people on ebay sell and custom drill them for around £8 all colours
i had to use a hacksaw to get the original one off, i ordered the pool ball to be drilled 12mm (?can't remember) and it was a tight fit, used an epoxy resin to hold it hard in place
its not coming off thats for sure!

I like it -caps on :)
Have to say, not a rat look fan but those 70s hubcaps looked good on the Corsa; wasn't a fan of the bodywork but the wheels looked good.

not much interesting happening guys, just boring maintenance,
had the cambelt and water pump replaced along with a service as a pre caution (no service history) which turned into replacing the rocker cover gasket, the alternator belt, ht leads and a rear brake cylinder
all for a £100 quid so can't complain.
major detailing sesh is going down soon on the nova with all this good weather !
