just found that the wheels that i want are et38  but i really want them, i cant see that just rolling me arches will be enough so what can i do short of buying a wide arch kit
also will this totaly shag the handeing and im planning to lower it 60mm

there 17's by the way

Hmm, the wrong offset wheels doesn't necessarily mean the handling will be awful. Only other thing you can do is getting the arches flared (but looks wrong on a nova, I had mine flared due to wrong offset wheels and I hated it). The et38 offset and 17's is going to be very difficult to combat unless you go for a wide arch kit.

Sorry I cant be of any other help, but it's a tricky situation :?

I had 15" et38 offset wheels on my old corsa gsi and it tramlined BADLY,every small rut in the road pulled the car all over,it also made it torque steer quite badly even though it only had 110bhp!
I changed to 15" 49mm offset vauxhall rims, with the same tyres and the difference in handling was unbelievable.
Be carefull what you by as you may think oh it will be ok,but you WILL get sick of the tramlining etc.
Plus et38's look daft anyway as they stick out to far!!

I've just got some 16's with a ET38 offset grrrrr, trimmed the front and rear arches back and they seem ok, well with 2 peeps in anyways, but with 3 in it rubs like fuck....good excuse 2 take the rear seats out innit ;-)
