converting 1.2 saloon to c16xe gears!!!

call me thick but dont get which bit u cut lug / linkage wich bit do i do help would be awsum. anybody with pics or explane it better too me please thanks slim

Take the gearstick gaitor off, there is a lug on the right hand side of the gearstick that is a beige colour if you move the gearstick to the side to go for 5th you will notice this block hits the side of the gearstick hole. You need to simply cut off this lug with a junior hacksaw or similar and it allows the gearstick to go over to select 5th. Job done.
