Just found out that an old nova i sold in april 09 was scrapped in april 09:mad:

just pissed me off as me and the old chap spent alot on time sorting the rust out and getting it ready to take an xe lump just to be scrapped :(

just thought i would let that out lol

shame mate. its funny how you can feel like that about a car you dont own anymore. I sold my astra last year, and found out a few weeks later that it had been written off. i was gutted too

Sold my Nova to my girlfriend's brother, kind of with the intention that one day i'd be more likely to get it back. Unfortunately it's now got an abyss body kit, limo tints and I still havent got my 256 brakes off it yet. And I have to see it, be reminded what it's turned into every time I go to her house. One day I'll save it :D

i knew you find out if its scrapped or not, where do you find out the month etc.

It might have been crashed (or crashed into) and scrapped that way. Or was the MOT due around the same time? lol
