View Full Version : New tyres, lowered more and washed. Audi A3 20v T.

Fitted narrower tyres (225/40/19) so to clear the coilover on the front, lowered it another inch or so, and washed the car today!

Quite happy with how its sitting now!

Opinions?

wheels look nicely tucked up in them arches :thumb:

looks nice cheif, i'd be very tempted to get a S3 front and rear bumper.

It does look a wee bit high but i think thats just due to them being 19's.

Cant go any lower on the front with the tyres that are on it, and the rear doesnt even have the helper springs in!

As for S3 bumpers, I have considered it, but S3's have wider arches and I doubt it'd look the same.

the S3 cant be that much wider surely? mine dont look any wider than yours TBH.

does look good and the paintwork looks immaculate.

This is going from forum talk so may be wrong...

Apparently S3 lookalikes look terrible! Never seen one to judge for myself however.

The paint is good, but the nearside quarter has a horrible problem with the paint. Its had a bad repair at some point and has reacted badly when being filled. Massive cracks all over it. Looks like the crackle effect paint on a VIBE sub lol.

the indicators on the wings are different, the grey swedge on the bottom of the doors are different, mine has side skirts covering the sills,

oh wings are £150 each from audi lol

your wheels look tiny in comparison bazil! i prefer the a3 but only cos its red.
