gear knob diameter

may sound silly but can't find any info on this, been trawling the web

basically want ot fit a pool ball gear knob and need to know diameter and thread depth

any help guys and gals as always will be appreiceated

nova ones aren't threaded. so its a case of drill a hole & fill it with no more nails or similar.....

Nothing to stop you running a die down it to thread it though. Thats what I did with a Cav shifter when I was fitting my Quaife nylon knob.

12mm dia. 20mm deep IIRC. Glue it on? Or make to hole slightly smaller, interference fit lol
