ive just turn 23 today and that got me thinking am i to old to own a nova as its wot everyone owned when i passed my test but i had a mk 2 escort rs2000 in pepper mint green
and wot is the avrage age of the modden day nova owner ?
a bloody sight older than you, apart from kissy dave who was 8 when he got his.

I had my 1st 1.2 merit when i was 18 in 1988. i,ve had a few 1200 and several 1.3sr's.
22 years later at almost 40 i,ve just purchased my 1st GTE.

sorry bout this it was triggered by my mum this morning when i had some bit deliveredto her house and she phone me up to c wot they where i told her there for the nova and she said uve just turned 23 should u not be be finished playing with little chav cars at ur age
thinking about in now i should have come back to her with well same gose for u as she drives about in a corsa vxr with a full milltec exhaust and its chiped to 225 bhp

My first car was a Nova at 17, now 34 and I'm on my third.
24 and on my second Nova.
23 on my 2nd..first was just a runaround while my cav was dead :( MINT arches...chassis legs gave me self lowering ;) lol

my old man has a mk1 rs2000 and just not long sold a mk2 rs2000 he is a bit of a ford freak but me i would rather push a vauxhall than drive a ford!

i had one once for a week for 25 quid... if i could have mot'd it, i'd probably still have it.. it was a 1.6 4 door, late type... the owner was sort of family, and he towed caravans with it.. he asked his son to beef up the suspension on it, so it had stiffer fronts & extra leafs on the back..... when it failed & we found out the chassis was really rotten, i took it to the scrapyard..... i had that bloody thing so sideways, at one point i was looking out the back left passenger window.....
amazingly, at the time, it never dawned on me to stick it in a shed & buy a seven kit...
Ive never had one.. but since being with Jack and going to the shows, ive grown fond of the little buggers. or maybe I should just get a pet spudly lol
If I had more room at my house, I would prob get one. my only requirement would be that its a saloon.

i got the red one in april 2000, i got her proper roadworthy for the 2009 nats... and then promptly did 200 miles that first day... remarkable when you consider i'm less than 20 miles from the nats venue.....

Very true. A pet spudly would be an expensive investment but im sure he would (eventually when trained) be a good pet. :)

My mum tried telling me that people will look at my car and assume im 17! lolIm 24 and on my 5th nova, i got my 1st 1.2 mk1 merit at 16. I cant get enough of them. Shes wrong, theyre ALL WRONG. :d Its not about what everyone else thinks, its what you think and mine puts a smile on my face everytime without fail (i don't use it daily). Personally if someone doesnt like it, then its their problem, im sleeping welllol
