handbrake cable

is the main cable ment to go to the driver side or passenger as mine is going to driver side and starting to gouge the fuel tank any ideas and its not letting me put an exhaust up properly as its hitting it

Think the main cable goes in to the bar and through to the passenger side and the adjuster cable goes to the drivers side yours sounds more like a corsa setup.

wasnt me who put the cable on it was my old boy he seems to think its right think al just take it off later and sort it

I think different models have different lengths and sides. Thats certainly what I found when trying to order replacement ones for mine. BuyPartsBy site has diagrams, lengths and maybe chassis numbers too.

When i ordered one the other day i got 4 different cables, and only used 2.
Cant remember the difference but there is one lol
