Thinking of spraying the new car Matt black with bright orange accessories I.e cages and a few engine details...
Is it just in my head or have I seen another nova like this before?

I have seen another nova with orange accessories before one here wasnt black tho, was a track one
its a bit last year...... but if done properly, looks quite good.
Why paint it matt black?
What wrong with the paint on yours, im just not really a fan of matt black motors unless done really well.
Matt black just looks a bit lazy really. The only cars I've seen it look good on are sleek supercars
I'm not a fan either
Looks too 'rat' for me lol

I'm just wanting to put my own stamp on the car really it will be done properly inside and out full respray..
The paint is silly cheap to get and I think the orange will compliment it..
I can't afford a top spray job atm I wanna save that for the saloon if I ever get one lol
I'm seeing a mk1 wide arch Matt black orange miliga spiders gloss black lightweight bumpers held with bonnet pins orange cage and rocker cover and a few bits and bobs... Maybe yellow tinted light??
In my head it looks good however in reality it may not lol

Satin finish looks far better than matt and sprays just as easily. Fact.

It's also what people are generally referring to when they say "matt black" in terms of car paint. Fact. lol
Make sure you cover his eyes before you spray him or you might blind him lol

Makes sense lol
Imo matt anything looks good just not black, and also imo its only the big money cars like rangeys, porsches lambos etc that can get away with matt black

Matt looks like a shabby blackboard, satin is like the finish you get on new factory steelies - not glossy but not all dusty looking like a matt finish.
is that nato green?
matt black looks good IF its not cold when you spray it, mine went slightly dusty down one side
i do prefer satin though
Satin is stunning imho, bit of a sheen but not glossy.
Saw a carbon fiber car painted satin black today, looked porn! (no the weave wasnt on show)

I think I'd prefer a slight shine tbh satin is the same price as matt. Win...
satin you can wash, matt you cant

It was a gloss black funk up lol
Satin and matt can both look good if executed properly.
Satin is better than matt IMO. My bonnet, wheels and bumpers are satin.
