right then . . . i fitted these brand new coilovers yesterday to my m8s corsa b the backs have gonr on fien but the fronts are beening a pain ! ! there is no play in them or anything but they are very camberd on the 1 side and the wheel is siting like that >>>> \ <<<< and other side is slighly tucked upd ther other way but the steering wheel is not centerd adn u have to hold it basclaiy half a turn for the wheels to be stright then it has only slight bit of camber ??? . . . . i think teh tracking is out any suggestions woulkd be great cheers ??



kwik fits advise . . . take steering wheel of and recenter it ( wont tha put the track out )

kford garage advise . . . turn the top monut round ? its running standerd ones shouldn't make a diff right :confused:

Are they both set the height same level? And iirc FK's have a slotted holes for camber adjustment, so are they in or out?

And assuming it was on standard suspension before, it will need tracking normally..

does the bottom of the shock look like this ?

mowgli's advice.... maybe buy tyres from kwikfit, but never get anything tracked by them.... ever.

they will need the camber checking, then adjusting along with the tracking, probably more than once to be right.

thanks for help guys sorted we think ive moved the bolt along the hole and its strighten the wheel up stright so its all good :thumb:

Ideally them coilovers want small wheels ie 13/14s or spacers for 15 and above,theyre a terrible fit

hes got 5mm spacers with astra wheels fitted

ALWAYS get the tracking/alignment done after any sort of suspension lowering.

editted. i agree with you fully john, but i go further with it.. we lost a pair of tyres in 300miles on our astra cos of an incompetent independant vauxhall garage.

he had the tracking done after i fixed the coilover camber :)
