How are you guys getting your alloy - head, can carrier looking so good ??
I just used hot water, detergent, elbow grease but some of these pictures the alloy look new.

I've used silver VHT paint on the head and cam carrier, will probably used Smooth Hammerite on it when I build my 1300 turbo lump up tho

Edd thats what i used hamaerite smooth silver comes out very well and looks good.

Ok, I'll remember that for the future. It's one of those things that only time will tell how well it stands up to use ie warming up cooling down etc etc.
An aside to this - has anyone had an alloy parts aqua blasted ??
I have just sent off my webers for blasting - I hope they come back as good as the blasters gallery pictures.
I'll post some before and after pictures when I get them back.
