this is the car i nearly bought when you bought it,i emailed him and asked how much he wanted,was 600 rupies at the time which was a bargain but you bought it,
i should rep you for leaving the tow bar on,
cav td reps need tow bars its like a cav law that needs abiding!!!!!!!
many a time ive used mine,infact i bought and fitted it
heres my tow bar(even has a new cover lol)

Yeah I emailed him on the Sunday morning went down and left a deposit. got it cheaper than 600 though ;)
Mind you there were some really serious issues with it though on inspection, not mentioned in the ad

try 40k since last year though gotta admit its looking a bit grubby now after my mate reversed it into a van and broke my bumper but ive used it as a daily and chucked tools jacks and all sorts in,thats what there for

You know I did exactly the same thing one morning with Spud in the car, was raining and I had my rear sun blind up. Reversed straight into a van lol. Guy wasn't even bothered!
Oh I just lob everything in mine too.

its changed a hell of alot sinse the majority of these pics though and if you watch my 4x4 project thread you will know its still in bits and changing
im hoping it will be back out though by the end of jan

its now on its **** on adjustable konis wearing cav turbo wheels the 4x4 is back how vaux intended the morrets have gone for tinted standards been wide mouthed loads of paint work steel rods new big ends mains arps ect the big valved ported coscast head from my nova ect and phase 3 among just a few of the changes

I knew/know what you scunny vultures are like and as ive dribbled over that cav everytime ive been over to scunny and passed it, Rob sent me the pic as he passed on his way to work, i thought i had better move fast to get it before it was donor'd off, and about eleven or so hours later i was handing over the cash for it:p

strange, there was a cav same colour as that with the same wheels at Well lane in 07 or 08 iirc.

Lol sort of, it wasnt sitting in the rubber properly (the hanger i mean) so shoved it over and bent the hanger down a bit so it was in the rubber correctly and thats the result:(

Not sure on who to get to fit the springs, its a bit if a cnut of a job apparently as everything likes to seize in place and break if you take it off, i need both wheelbearings doing now aswell:roll:

Apparently the trackrods like to seize into the hub just for a laugh and you usually bugger them by removing them, and if theyre buggered they also like to seize into the rack just to be nasty:cry:

lol i even copper greased mine all nice and free,3 month later the track rod end (fairly new) wouldnt come out the strut so wrecked it to get it out:(

Lol my mate got pulled one winter in his diamond black cav turbo due to it being that dirty, the rear reg plate was totally unreadable, and the rear lights could only just be seen lol

Very nice Calibre mate :) only thing I would change are the black reg plates...not a fan of them...at all except for on cars that are meant to have them on lol
