No an F10 won't fit an E16SE, the 1.4 and 1.6 MPi engines have a larger flywheel/clutch and the starter motor is spaced further from the crank accordingly. Hence why the F13 is fitted to these engines as it has a larger bellhousing than the F10 :thumb:

Standard shafts will be fine and you won't have any worries about breaking them with a 1.6 8 valve lol

Welcome to PNG by the way pal :)

Well thats what I have been led to believe...as the F10 and F13 internals are the same, the only difference being the larger bellhousing for the SRi, GTE and GSi engines

what pump have you got? and what mods (if any) are being done to the 1.6?

On the gearbox, I'd stick with the F13, my 1.6 had the wb gear cluster and the standard gsi diff and was poor to drive, the CR ratio box is much better

got a fassett pump that a mate ran his clio williams turbo with and at the moment no mods will be done .....was told it has bigger injectors than standard by the guy got engine from but not sure
