The gearbox is not available until after engine has sold, if engine doesnt sell its going in my car with the F28.
I am selling my freshened up C20LET engine
Engine had covered 127k in my Cavalier Turbo before I stripped it.
When the engine came out it had the following work done:
-New Glyco Big End Bearings
-New Mahle Piston Rings
-New Valve Stem Seal's
-New Oil Pump to Block Gasket
-New Sump Gasket (rubber)
-New Crank Seal
-New Rocker Cover Gasket
-New Inlet Gasket
-New Exhaust Gasket
-New Headgasket
-New Headbolts
-New Timing Belt Kit
All gaskets are either GM or better quality, parts from Steveboyslim
The block is near enough mint, there is no step on the top of the bores. The pistons have been cleaned, as has all the block, head, manifolds etc etc. Its not covered in dripping oil and CV Grease like some!
The oil pump has ben stripped, cleaned and built back up. Everythign has been checked inside, crank is mint, as are mains etc.
According to the previous owner the turbo has been rebuilt very recently, I have no receipt for this, but on inspection there is absoloutely no play in the shaft what so ever, and there is a new plate on there.
Comes with a downpipe, which has been cut at the bottom, but is very long and can easily be joined whre it was cut.
The loom is in very condition, however 2 injector clips are broken. A cable tie will sort this out.
The ECU is standard (non immobilised), but engine will come with a set of Phase 2 Chips.
Airflow meter is there, as are all hoses, boost, coolant, vacuum etc etc. Intercooler std + bigger item, Cav T header tank
Starter included, as is alternator (both very new).
Engine is a late type square tooth with multi groove belt.
The engine is 100% complete.
All proper turbo studs, no copper nuts holding manifold on, everything there as it came out of the factory.
Head is GM, but has been sealed, so it cant crack.
I am after £1200 for the engine
Mechanical F28, in good condition, with no whines/crunches etc been cleaned up, so not covered in oil/grease etc, needs new Oil seal in it, as transfer box has been removed. These are £5. I can supply a 2WD conversion plate if needed £300
I am located in Southend, but will deliver within reason for fuel money.
