mite be a daft question but do standard nova i.e base spec subframes fit the gsi/gte/sr.sri recaro seats as i bought some gte seats in very good nick but no subframes....

No. The base spec seat frames are attached to the seats.

Thats what I had to do when I wanted to put bucket seats in mine. The only way you can use the standard frames is by hacking them off the seats. The best option is to just get a set of GSi/GTE seat frames.

or SR ones, i took the subframes of the rainbow seats for them to be taken to ireland, 4 bolts on each seat iirc.
