1400 Mk3 astra lump.

Hopefully getting a 1400 Mk3 astra lump, 8v, with 5 speed box.

Am I likely to need anything special to fit into my 1200 Mk1 nova??

as far as i know the mk3 astra engine is the same 1.4 thats found in late novas

The astra engine? Its not carb. It will be SPi probs.

In which case, I hope its cheap. SPi engines are ****.

If you want to keep the car a carb, your have to find/buy a head, inlet, carb, dizzy setup (rare), exhaust. MPi is even more work for the engine/car, i wont even go there.
