As in title, how do you get round this?
My mate said to take the cap off and stuff it full of grease but not realling like that idea.
I was thinking dremiling the excess material from the centre cap?

Id do as your mate suggests as the cap is only there to stop dirt ingress, but if you pack it full of grease this will do the same job and will be a lot easier than having your caps drilled out.

I did have the insides of my old ones drilled out though as they fouled the shafts on my xe, but with the rears it really doesnt matter about that cap!

Been covered before but meh...

Take the caps off and ensure there is enough grease in there. Don't overpack it as people normally suggest as that can be just as bad for the bearing as no grease. The speedline covers are pretty good at keeping water out and they certainly keep the dirt out.

I've run mine for over ten years like this with no problems whatsoever.
