air leak on pipe from afm? or icv? whats it like when warm? cos the coolant temp switch is a possibility,

Was thinking coolant temp switch, and yea the straight through exhaust is coming off today, didnt want it on in the first place but hey hoy.
And pipe from am looks to be good, but i am taking it off in a second to inspect it. And even from warm it runs a little lumpy.
Will let you know how i get on, and cheers for the advice mowgli +rep if i can
EDIT - You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to mowgli again.

i was actually looking at a way of fixing the afm/ecu to the timing cover so i could make use of a non convolute pipe for 2 reasons.
1. you can't get replacements
2. its got to be better for airflow.

in the end, i got a better pipe from billing & used some windscreen bonding sealant to fill the gaps. it seems to work.

Yea that does sound like a better idea.
We will see, this one will be gaffer taped up till i find a solution.
I also have a coolant temp sensor (the one for the ecu) on route in hope it will sort out the crap starting from cold issue, i will let you know how i get on

you can get the same symptoms from an airlock in the funny thing behind the inlet manifold.....
