everything ive bought as been fine, sold a xe loom last night paid late on and still s packed it last night and sent first class at 9 this morning, you will find its the bad sellers that discourage people from buying thats why the nazis do there best to name and shame and hence the reason of a buyer seller feedback section
Why would you stop buying now? I always search in the feedback section before committing to buy off someone, if they don't have feedback I ask (as do others) if anyone has used them before.

I once bought a loom off here, I asked for a mint loom, no trouble no cuts. He said yes mate worked well, Really mint this one. I got it here and the whole wires to the three small plugs and fuel pump relay needed replacing, there was about 15cm of bare wire and inbetween it was being held with a chocolate block!. Then i have bought stuff three time off here and it never turned up so had to get a refund. Others post ridiculously late, or think its gold what there selling and over charge. Or hide up problems with something.
And just bought a lambda sensor on here, i asked for new or mint. looking at it as it came looked fine but looking at the sensor that has the fins that dip in to the exhaust taking the reading around the part nearest the threads has been slightly crushed all the way around, then half way up to the plug the wires have been insulated rapped where the wires have been rubbing against something and there skin has been rubbed down so you can see bare damaged wire!!! not worth what i paid for it!
I've had trouble with duff items being received before, or not as described, but tbh thats more to do with the seller than the method of purchase - no difference to buying through any other private adlisting. Although granted if you received the same via ebay you could protest and get ebay to do something about it, items not as described etc.
This is why we state buyer beware on the NovaTrader guff though, by using the site you accept the given risks of private sales.

yeah I know not angry at the forum just the sellers but just asking for peoples experiences on this particular forum, but its does annoy me as I wont sell anything I wouldn't accept to people on here, cause we are all on this forum for the same reason. so show respect to someone shares the same interest as you. it just it has happened a lot now and it shoulder.

Bought a few things off the forum and I've been quite pleased. Only been fcuked about once, but I got my money back! I would say paypal is a must though!
I've bought **** loads and cant think of a time I've been messed about yet, I'll openly admit I have sometimes been a bit late in posting stuff but I'm always honest and happy to give my mobile number out incase the buyer wants to get in touch.

I only buy from trustworthy members, too many site-users come & go too quickly for my liking, often selling stuff that seems too good to be true.
I only buy off people I know/have a good seller feedback. I take it you checked their feedback before buying? And have contacted them with your issues to try and resolve them?
i have never had a problem buying off the forum, maybe i've been lucky, but i only buy off people i've seen on here regularly.

yeh i do admit i have bought off a lot of people on here, and they have been great. recently bought SR bumper as described, came quick. really pleased with most members. but sometimes its just such a newsense.
I have bought loads of here and nearly always been happy, I have sold a fair bit also, I do admit to being slow posting sometimes but its not intentional, its due to the nature of my job that I can't always get to the post office, I always try to under sell stuff and do offer to send a picture or request one if I'm buying, have you contacted the seller and said that they have not been truthful with you?

And you travel mad miles for little bits lol crazy mofo.
I have been a lot further than yours as well pal but normally tie it in with work, think I've had everything I need now from the UK, started buying bits from Europe now but at least their courier service seem to be reliable unlike ours, I can buy bits from Germany and have them in three working days with standard delivery but buy some thing from Scotland and it takes over a week, I really do hate Royal mail and most services tbh, the only one I like is DPD lol

ive bought and sold via PNG and have never ran into problems
The dog porn I purchased from Craig Green arrived without issue. As said, choose who you buy from and it's all good.
You can spot the scammers a mile off.

The process of the forum is a good one. As long as you use paypal you have a back up should things go all Pete Tong! If all the genuine buyers and sellers work together by leaving the correct feedback the dodgy users will get weeded out!

The forum is VERY good for buying stuff imo. I have never known a site full of such genuine people and every single person i have met to buy parts off or sel to they have been top guys. Obviously there maybe the odd one, but aslong as you're careful there shouldnt be an issue.
I would definetly not ban myself from using the trade section on here as opposed to other forums that i would definetly stop trading.
i dont think ive actualy bought anything off the forum, not for the fact of private sellin etc just that i can never be ar5ed to trawl through the threads. . Ive sold 3 cars on here tho and never had a problem.

CASH ON COLLECTION is my friend.
I would much rather spend £20 on fuel, then £10 on postage and it turn up being shat.
I however, am not the fastest at posting stuff, as I always admit, but as my feedback says, when I say im buying something, Im there with the cash.
