just wondering if there is any sort of fuel cut or ignition limiter which works with bike carbs, not having any luck on any other forums...

if you use a stand alone management like mega jolt or DTA yes but if not then no

I'm sure Nova Ian on here is planning to use a revlimiter with a coil setup. Have a search in his WIP.

This is correct, but for a coil use an omex limiter.

All it does, is cut power to the coil

(massive bangs and flames when fiddled with)

Course you can danny.

Get a full engine loom, dizzy, coil and amp off a 1.4sr nova, this goes streight onto your 1600 engine.

Then time her up roughly etc.

Get one of those omex limiters and go from there:thumb:

Ive got one on one of my rally cars, I haven't bothered setting up shift light but the limited is really easy to setup. You can set hard and soft limits on it to

I've done a years rallying, flat out all night through fords etc and yet to have a problem so I'd say it's pretty good. Touch wood

Be 10x easier to do what I said dude.

Don't have to mod the dizzy or loom plugs then.
