Couldn't decide if this was ICE or Electrical. lol

I've managed (at long last) to find an Electric Aerial.
It was fitted to a Mk2 Astra, so should fit the Nova too.
(The Nova and Astra part number is the same on the OE part)

As it's a used part, I don't have any fitting/wiring instructions.

I take it with fitting, it'll be wheel and wheel liner off to get to the aerial, then use the grommets etc to feed the wires into the car.

Then theirs the wiring.

Three wires (stupid colours too). i'm assuming.
1 - Live
2 - Earth
3 - Switched live (from Headunit)

Is the Live wired in to a permanent feed or onto the Ignition?

Does it need a relay? or not.

Anyone able to give me any pointers?

I think the live feed should be a perm one or at least from the perm live on the stereo as thats fused, you could go for a timed relay as once you turn off the ignition the aerial still takes a few seconds to roll down on its own, so if its not powered after the headunit goes off it will stop halfway down lol

As spudders says, Although some aerials have the relay built in, Test it. Also There should be a specific aerial output on the head unit, your just need to pin the plug.
