help 1.2 carb wont start

Is the ignition timing correct? Plug leads on right way? Dizzy not 180 degrees out?

i think all right as car run but on 3 so i change the leads one at a time

the coils can knacker up on them so they give a really weak spark when the plugs are out, but nothing when the plugs are back in.

car making sqeaking sound on the start motor and still wont start do you think it the start motor

same problem here mate, fuel, strong spark, had timing checked and its fine.

but it wont start

ok. main things that stop 1.2 novas from starting.

1. fuel either pump or carb
2. ht problem, coil, dizzy or leads
3. cambelt either slipped or stripped.
4. knackered starter/battery
5. earth strap from gearbox
6. muck in the fuel tank.

there isn't much else on them.
