went and looked at the rally car and in the description it said it had a 1200 head on the 1600 block etc, however when i got there he "thought" it had a 1200 head on it.

now, when i stripped my 1600 nova engine, on the right hand side of the block there was a sensor or some sort of eletrical connection, do the 1200 corsa or nova engines have this also?

the block etc is a nova gsi engine, another thing is it has a 4-1 manifold, wud this not be different to a 1600 if the head was a 1200?

thanks

could be a head off of a corsa engine check around the exhaust manifold to see if you can find a big 12 on the head itself

if its being run on carbs then a 4 branch can be used on any head. The best way to check is to take the inlet manifold off and check the port shapes.

the reason for the 1.2 head is more than likely the combustion chamber shape is different to the 1.6 and due to this it raises compresion by quiet a bit and increases performance due to this
